The company was established in 1999 by Gary Evans to provide specialist IS / IT management services that are practical, flexible and which provide value for money. Our consultants have over twenty-five years experience working in both the public and private sectors, for organisations that rely on IT. |

| Gary Evans BA (Hons.) QiCA Gary ’s expertise lies in the area of New Technology management reviews that have been developed extensively by working in the public sector for over twenty five years. This work has provided opportunities to be involved in all aspects of technology, including issues surrounding change management, and the different needs required at various levels, from end users of PC based systems to the use of Facilities Management suppliers and other external suppliers / agencies. Prior to June 1999 Gary worked for Birmingham City Council (BCC) for over twenty years. He held a variety of posts in key Departments before eventually becoming Head of the City Council’s Computer Audit Section. The team was responsible for the provision of a full range of IT audit services to all BCC Departments. In addition to this, Gary played a key role in developing the services offered by Internal Audit, providing training to colleagues and other Departmental staff on related matters and promoting the use of IT to assist with audit work. Gary was also a member of the Divisional Management Team. During this time Gary assisted the Audit Section in securing the ISO9002 accreditation and the Finance Department's successful bid for the Investors in People award. Gary previously held the post of Assistant Data Protection Officer within the Internal Audit Section of BCC. He specialised in all aspects of adherence to that legislation as well as PC security. The provision of training to all levels of staff was also a key role that he undertook at that time. Gary holds the Qualification in Computer Auditing (QiCA) with the Institute of Internal Auditors (UK) and has a BA (Hons.) in Government. In addition to this he holds a series of other business related qualifications. |
